Established in 2001, Hull Community Transport provide specialised door-to-door, wheelchair-accessible transport for people who may find public transport difficult to access.

Hull Community Transport aims to reduce isolation, improve quality of life and offer inclusive, accessible transport solutions to those who need them most.

The council provides financial support to enable them to operate various services, including -

Dial-a-Ride

A personalised transport service for individuals who need door-to-door assistance. Ideal for accessing health appointments, shopping trips, social visits or essential errands.

Group Travel

Designed for community groups, clubs and social organisations looking to travel together to events, day trips or group activities. Comfortable and accessible minibuses are available for hire.

Community Bus Services

Scheduled routes are designed to meet the needs of residents where regular public transport may be limited or unavailable.

Motability Foundation

Provides grants that improve transport accessibility for disabled people, enabling greater independence and connection, with support tailored through collaboration, including with Hull Community Transport.

Community Group Support

We actively support local community groups with affordable and flexible transport options, helping them stay connected and mobile.

Marfleet Community Bus

Funded through the Local Authority Bus Grant, the council has continued to work with local charity, Hull Community Transport, to maintain the Marfleet Community Bus for 2026/2027, providing a community link three days per week.

Hull Community Transport specialise in door-to-door, wheelchair-accessible transport for people who may find public transport difficult to access. 

The community bus runs from Humber View via Asda (Mount Pleasant), David Lister Court, Bilsdale Grove, Morrisons and Kingston Health Centre.

The Marfleet Community Bus operates Monday, Wednesday and Friday, except bank holidays, with the following timetable.
