Exploring our city's green and open spaces

Not only is walking the cheapest and easiest way to start improving your health and wellbeing, but you can also take advantage of over 100 parks and open spaces. There are parks filled with stunning flowers, a boating lake in East Park, and a sensory garden at Pickering Park.

Both Pearson Park and East Park have been successful in attaining the Green Flag Award, which recognises the international quality mark for parks and green spaces.
