If you are a Hull City Council tenant, with dedicated off-street parking, you can also apply for permission to install your own charger.
Your workplace may already have electric vehicle charging that might be available to you.
Hull City Council does not permit anyone to trail a cable across a public highway or footway, such as road or pavement.
The council is investigating alternative ways of support residents without off-street parking.
