Hull Card

If you use public transport regularly, the Hull Travel Card may be your best option.

Through the Hull Bus Alliance, Hull City Council, Stagecoach East Midlands and East Yorkshire Buses introduced Hull Card Day and Hull Card Week. It includes unlimited travel in and around the city for either £6.30 a day or just £25.30 a week.

You can buy your ticket any way that suits you, whether it is on board or through the bus operators' apps.

Search the app store for either ‘Stagecoach Bus’ or ‘East Yorkshire Bus’.

Buy your mobile ticket on either app and use it on both Stagecoach and East Yorkshire services.

Hull Card Group

Hull Card Group is a ticket which offers travel on both Stagecoach and East Yorkshire services, in Hull, for up to 6 people, of any age, and lasts all day.

You can use it as many times as you like on Stagecoach or East Yorkshire buses in Hull on the day of purchase, but you must be travelling together.

The group card is not valid on night buses after 23:59.

The price for the ticket is £14.90.

The Hull Card Group is currently only available for purchase on board.

KAT Card

The KAT Card is available for those under the age of 20.

Costing just £18.60 per week, it offers the same benefits as the Hull Card. It includes unlimited travel across Hull and some surrounding areas, including -

  • Wawne
  • Cottingham
  • Willerby
  • Kirk Ella
  • Anlaby
  • Hessle

The offer is available to Hull residents only.

You can buy your ticket any way that suits you, whether it is at the Hull Paragon Interchange travel office, on board or in your app.

Background

Working with the Young People’s Parliament, Hull City Council, Stagecoach East Midlands and East Yorkshire Buses agreed to share the cost of discounting a Hull Card for those who have not yet reached the age of 20.

The cost will be discounted by 10% by the bus companies and down to £18.60 by Hull City Council, with the council’s share being provided by income from bus lane penalty charges. The name for the product - KAT Card - Kids and Teenagers - was chosen by the Young People’s Parliament.

Where to purchase

You can purchase your card on the bus with either operator or through the Stagecoach Bus or East Yorkshire Bus apps.

How to top up your card

When your current period of travel runs out, you can simply buy another 7 days' worth of travel.

Problems with your card

Call the number on the reverse of the card for customer support 03458 101 000 if you have any problems with your card.

The offer is available to Hull residents only. Cards can be purchased at the Hull Paragon Interchange travel office or on the buses.

Hull Uni Card

If you are a student in Hull, you can get discounted travel on our Hull Card Week ticket with the Hull Uni Seven-Day Ticket for just £20.

Discover all of the fantastic attractions all across Hull, including Kingswood (Hollywood Bowl and Cineworld) or use it as often as you like to get from A to B for part-time work or evenings out with friends.

The Hull Uni Seven-Day ticket allows unlimited travel across all Stagecoach and East Yorkshire routes - all day, every day for 7 days a week.

Hull Uni Card tickets can only be purchased through the operators' apps - Stagecoach East Midlands or East Yorkshire.

When you arrive at the ticket selection area of the apps, make sure you filter by 'Student'.

You may be asked for your Student ID when boarding the bus.
