Services that support Hull to become a city of active travel

Local charity, R-evolution, were appointed by Hull City Council to operate a cycling hub from Trinity Market to help support the city’s ambition to be cleaner, greener and healthier.

Whether exploring the city, riding for leisure, commuting or shopping, the popular hub is there for all your cycling needs and continues to grow.

Last year, the number of people using the hub’s free, secure indoor cycle parking increased to 4,830, up 23% on 2023/24 when 3,905 people used the facility.

The number of cycles maintained, including free, goodwill repairs, increased 25% to 1,959 from 1,555 and interactions with members of the public rose 14%, from 4,754 to 5,464.

R-evolution also accepted almost double the number of donations of cycles, from 41 to 80, which have been fully refurbished by the charity’s trained mechanics for resale at affordable prices.

In addition to selling affordable, recycled, and refurbished bikes, R-evolution’s mechanics at Trinity Market also offer -
